Medical English Lesson 20 Sekcja: Medical English Data publikacji: 2007-02-14In the A and E department of a busy UK hospital. A patient has just been admitted to the hospital unconscious. Read the following dialogue and answer the questions:
1. Why has the patient been admitted?
2. What is wrong with the patient?
Dr Reamus: Who's this then?
Nurse Shelton: Some drunk who the paramedics picked up on the high street. Dr Reamus: Oh come on there's no need to be 1)______approving - hospital staff have the highest rates of alcoholism in the country! They are still people, you can 2)______humanise them.
